Campbell River Golf & Country Club (Crgolf) is a state-of-the-art resort style golf course with a Toptracer driving range & lounge called Velocity - soon to be a full resort with a hotel, spa, restaurant and conference centre. Manager Amanda Raleigh came to me in the hopes to refresh their identity and get the word out to a broader audience. The priority was to showcase that they are a golf course that is open to everyone - approachable and fun with a focus on being an "experience" / travel destination.
In June of 2019 I created an updated brand identity which included a website design, print materials, site signage and a full print and digital marketing campaign strategy that would make a large impact in a short period of time. Keeping the visuals clean and bright with fresh photography which featured a younger audience, paired with a fun and slightly cheeky tone of voice in the advertising slogans which were based around the idea of "we don't do average”. This certainly broke through the typical golf club mold and got people talking. The marketing strategy relied heavily on an on-going digital ad campaign through the help of our friends over at Boleyn Media. Following the success of last years campaign; and with Covid to consider I continue to help advertise the course and new op’s building, and provide print and digital assets and site signage. I am certainly excited to see and help their vision come to life in the coming years.
