The Burrow is a hobby project of mine and my partners - we started it the first year we moved into our home here in Cumberland. The idea is similar to the 'take a book, leave a book' concept but for all things gardening. We have set up a market bench in our front yard and it is open to the public to either pick up items or drop off, items such as: plants, fresh grown food, seeds, gardening equipment and sometimes fun gifts! Anything we grow in surplus is put out on the bench as well as flower bouquets that I create. It's all free! We aim to create community and spread knowledge on growing your own food, raising chickens and general gardening tips.

We also host community events such as our Seedy Saturday, a gardeners tea and chat, and our annual seedling sale. We have had a lot of fun putting these events together and seeing folks get excited to grow their own food.

Seeing as I am a graphic designer, I finally made time to create a logo for our passion project (embarrassingly late..).
